Anthony Bullen developed his passion for sports and exercise while growing up locally in South Florida participating in many team sports. Anthony received his B.S. degree from Florida State University in Nutrition and Exercise Science in 1997.

He then went on to receive his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2000. After graduating he began working for Healthsouth outpatient clinics in South Florida. There he gained experience working with many different patient populations. Geriatrics, everyday weekend warrior athletes, high school, college, and professional athletes were among the patients he treated back to health.

Anthony furthered his career at Accelerated Physical Therapy centers in West Palm Beach. There he managed a unique office that treated many high level athletes, as well as injured workers compensation patients from the surrounding farming community. Anthony initiated a work hardening rehabilitation program for the injured workers.

Being self-driven, he opened his private practice by starting PTRA, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Associates. PTRA currently contracts with many South Florida home healthcare agencies, providing them staffing and therapy for many homebound geriatric patients throughout Broward County.

Anthony has continued his education by taking courses in Manual Therapy, Lymphedema Treatment, and Spine Rehabilitation. His treatment philosophy is combining appropriate manual therapy techniques with active therapy, core strength, spinal stabilization, and maintaining an active lifestyle.

When Anthony is away from work his interests include spending time with family, fishing, boating, exercise and running, and watching local sports teams. Anthony enjoys participating in 5Ks and Endurance runs for charity.
